This sweetly scented, dainty jonquilla creates a soothing display of strong, long-lasting flowers which come along every year to light up the garden late in the season, gleaming in the late-spring sunshine and gracefully bobbing in the breeze.

Daffodils like Narcissus 'Yellow Sailboat' are among the most reliable spring bulbs to grow. Most wildlife leave them alone and once you’ve done the initial task of planting the bulbs, there’s very little else you need to do to keep them coming back for another show every year.  

Growing to a height of around 30cm, Narcissus 'Yellow Sailboat' is sturdy and isn’t top heavy with large blooms, so you can look forward to your yellow sailboats staying upright and buoyant through their flowering season. Normally coming into bloom around late April and lasting into May, 'Yellow Sailboat' daffodils combine well with tulips and other late narcissi, particularly peachy colours.
