One of the hardier gladioli nanus variety, Gladiolus 'Prins Claus' doesn’t stop with just being a little tougher than his kinsmen. Nanus gladioli are a dwarf variety, reaching only about 70cm (just over two foot in height) and are stronger and straighter than their taller brethren. They present their multiple blooms more freely, lifting individual orchid-like flowers off the spike with short thin stems, instead of forming the tightly packed-spires of other gladioli.
