If you’re looking for a low-maintenance plant to bring life to a bare, partially shaded space, look no further than Epimedium 'Lilafee'. This ground-cover perennial provides interest through the entire season and changes appearance as the months go by. Not only will its vibrant heart-shaped leaves gradually spread out to fill a space with swathes of lush greenery, it’ll also treat you to an enchanting show of dainty, spurred purple flowers in spring which emerge in sprays above the young bronze-tinged leaves. Epimedium 'Lilafee' is a large flowered type so the blooms can be more of a feature in spring than some other barrenwort types.     

This hardy, resilient, undemanding perennial will gradually spread, eventually providing an attractive ground cover which is both effective at filling a boring, bare space with a lushness and life, and supressing weeds throughout the entire growing season—from spring through to autumn every year.
