Dahlia 'Innocent Silence'
The soft, plump flowers of Dahlia 'Innocent Silence' are white with a hint of lemon at the base of each petal, offering an elegant, subtle alternative to the usual razzmatazz of dahlias. Measuring around 9cm across, the medium sized blooms of Dahlia 'Innocent Silence' mix easily with other flowers, particularly those in a fresh, zingy colour scheme of yellows, whites, greens, and blues. For a warmer colourway try close relative Dahlia 'Great Silence', identical in form and size but instead a rich, coral pink. Â
You will receive your Dahlia 'Innocent Silence' tubers in spring. We recommend potting them up straight away and keeping in a cool, frost-free environment such as a greenhouse, conservatory, or cold frame. Plant outside (either into the ground, or a larger container) once all risk of frost has passed – usually around mid to late May. This head start will have you (and the bees and butterflies!) enjoying your Dahlia 'Innocent Silence' flowers earlier and for longer.Â
