Dahlia 'HS Party'
Plant Dahlia 'HS Party' let the sun shine on your parade! Dahlias in the 'Happy Single' series have some stunning single-flowered dahlias in vibrant, cheerful colours set against sultry dark foliage. Dahlia 'HS Party' refuses to be outdone by any of them, wowing everyone with one of the most arresting combinations of all: a zingy lemon-yellow flower perfectly framed and intensified by olive-black lush leaves. This is a stand-out plant that will provide many weeks of uplifting colour.
Like the others in the HS series, Dahlia 'Happy Single Party' has the flexibility to perform equally well in borders and in pots, thanks to its compact, branching habit and prolific nature. Typically growing to around 60cm tall, it’s a good choice for patio containers and just as lovely nearer the front of a border. Dahlia 'HS Party' is no flash-in-the-pan short lived wonder: with good care and regular deadheading it will continue flowering through late summer and into autumn, and when winter comes, its tubers can be stored another performance the following year (and many more after that).
