The flowers of recently introduced cultivar Dahlia 'Belfloor' stand out for the ever-so-slightly twisted arrangement of their petals, which gives a lovely sense of spinning movement. Measuring around 9cm these medium-sized blooms mix easily with other planting, their soft blend of rose pink and gold going well in almost any colour scheme. At around a metre tall Dahlia 'Belfloor' is ideal for the middle to back of a border.  

Flowering from midsummer until the first frosts, Dahlia 'Belfloor' is perfect for offering late season colour and interest when earlier perennials are beginning to tire. For an extra bushy and floriferous plant, pinch out the growing tip when around 20cm tall to just above a lower set of leaves. Regular deadheading will also make a real difference to flowering, in redirecting energy away from seed production and back into the formation of new blooms.
