Anemone 'Levante® Rosa' produces huge, fully double flowers of deep shell pink, usually fading to a pale cream towards the centre. In the middle of each bloom is a large central circle of black stamens. This is one of the new strain of Italian-bred Levante® anemones, all of which produce stunning, large, double blooms in striking colours. They will transform patio pots, or the fronts of beds and borders in spring and summer!

The flowers of Anemone 'Levante® Rosa', which can appear as early as March or as late as September, depending on the time of planting, are held on 20-30cm high stems. In the UK, the little Anemone tubers (which look rather like dried-up pieces of bark when they first arrive) are best planted in the spring; you can also plant them right through until autumn for flowering the following year, but it would be wise to give them winter protection. When plants spring into growth, they amaze by producing a huge amount of flower and leaf from such a little tuber.

The flower stems of Anemone 'Levante® Rosa' are strong, making them perfect for cutting and indoor arrangements—they are known for possessing a very long vase-life, usually 10 days or longer.
